Manchester City Council approved, under delegated powers in October 2023, the demolition of Simon House next to Teledata's Delta House in Wythenshawe and its replacement with a data centre of about 45,000 sq ft. After Datum Datacentres acquired Teledata, the building was completed as Datum MCR2 and officially opened on 26 June 2025, adjacent to the existing MCR1 facility.
